 Thu, 20 Mar 2008 14:14:17 GMT Countryside Welcomes New Senior Minister http://www.countrysideucc.org/news/news.aspx?nid=15 On April 27th, Countryside will welcome Dr. Eric Elnes as our new Senior Pastor. Dr. Elnes was in our pulpit on February 2nd, his "Candidating Sunday", where he shared a message using the story of Peter leaving the safety of the boat to follow Jesus onto the water (Matthew 14:22-36). While Dr. Elnes assures us he cannot walk on water, he encouraged us to join him in stepping off the boat, seeking to discern Jesus' call for our lives. So many members of the congregation expressed excitement following the service; Countryside is ready to begin the journey!
